Merit 奖学金 and 奖助金 are for Degree Seeking Students enrolled at the University of Missouri-St. 路易. 奖学金 may have their own individual additional requirements but all Merit 奖学金 are for Degree Seeking Students.
奖学金 and grants are funds that are awarded to students to help them with the costs of their educations. These awards do not have to be repaid. A student may receive a scholarship or grant because of academic merits, 财务需要, artistic or athletic talents, or for other criteria set forth by scholarship donors. 奖学金 and 奖助金 are an excellent way to fund your education, but you will need to be proactive in locating and applying for them.
Students must apply through the UMSL Competitive Scholarship Application.
The STL Rise Up Scholarship is for Transfer Students that are Missouri Residents. This scholarship is to help support students with 财务需要 that do not qualify for a Pell Grant. Students must complete the STL Rise Up application to be considered.
Students must meet the criteria listed on the application in order to potentially be eligible for this award.
This scholarship is for $1000 per year and can be renewed for an additional year if the renewal criteria on the application is met.
The funds for this scholarship are limited so applicants are awarded on a First Come First Serve basis.
Some academic departments award their own scholarships. Students should contact their department to inquire about scholarship opportunities for their major. Because an additional application may be required for these scholarships, students should inquire with their departments as early as possible.
This scholarship is awarded jointly by the presidents of the participating St. 路易-area community college campuses and the University of Missouri-St. 路易.
学费 Settlement Scholarship: This scholarship is available to qualifying student who attended one of the four University of Missouri campuses during the period from Winter Semester 1995 through Fall Semester 2001 inclusive. A qualifying student was a Missouri Resident Undergraduate Student at the time of attendance and was at least 16 years of age, but under age 22 on the first day of class in at least one semester during this time period. 参观 学费 Settlement Scholarship site 欲知详情.
University of Missouri MOST Scholarship: 80 scholarships of $500 per year are awarded annually for qualifying students of families who have invested for college through Missouri's 529 Savings Plan (MOST) and who attend one of the University of Missouri's four campuses. Students will not be awarded more in UMSL funded scholarships than the student’s direct costs charges to their student accounts.
